ABOUT

L2 Agribusiness started its history in 2007 with Léo Boiadeiro who, at the age of 20 and with an entrepreneurial spirit, wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and become a rural producer.

The company's first crop was carrots. At the time, Léo Boiadeiro operated the tractor and developed practically all the activities, from planting to harvesting.

In order to rotate crops, he opted to plant cereals, which was also necessary for cattle farming. The confinement is one of the activities that lasts to this day, and is one of the pillars of the L2.

Gradually, the areas increased, as well as the variety of crops and, two years after the start, I was growing carrots and onions. Later came the potato, through a partnership and in the second harvest, started to plant individually.

After the harvest of the second potato crop, came the possibility of buying its first area, the Boi Gordo Farm, where today the administrative headquarters, the entire processing structure, some planting areas and the confinement of cattle are installed.

In 2010, his wife, Bruna, started to support the company's administrative and financial activities, remaining to this day, acting as Administrative Director.

In 2014, due to constant fluctuations in the market, he sought a new activity that would provide greater stability and opted for garlic. Two years later he decided to remain with garlic cultivation only.

After 2016, with its exclusive dedication to garlic, L2 Agrinegócios went up another step and began to sell garlic seeds, a segment in which it operates to this day and is a national reference.

Currently, L2 Agrinegócios produces more than 4 million kilograms of garlic, grown on 215 hectares. Its cattle confinement has a static capacity for 6,000 head of cattle and slaughters approximately 18,000 heads annually.
